Claude has been looking after her garden for 39 years and describes it as her domain “a place where I can relax, reflect and put things in perspective.” It’s a beautifully tended space with immaculate lawns, precise planting and an abundance of colour.
Claude’s garden is 30ft by 100ft, giving scope for both a serpentine lawn and abundant herbaceous borders. Small trees, climbers and shrubs give height and perennials give the borders a feeling of abundance.
Claude inherited a blank canvas and designed her garden from scratch with the planting evolving over the years. She tends it herself with occasional help from a gardener for some pruning.
